"Jack is the ideal person to take Creators Syndicate to the next level of growth," said founder and CEO Rick Newcombe.
He also studied politics while living in Santiago, Chile, worked with local microfinance programs in Southeast Asia, and performed service work in Tanzania, Africa. While there, he was a four-year varsity athlete and captain of the rowing team. Newcombe earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, majoring in government and Spanish. "There will always be a demand for quality content," Newcombe said in a statement. Between his first and second years he worked for Wikia, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales' technology start-up in San Francisco. Newcombe recently received his Master of Business Administration from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
